Today I had the pleasure of doing an interview with Robin Stickley of the Global Weekend Noon News Hour - except this time I was the one answering questions.
We had a generous seven-minute slot near the end of the show. The segment was intro'ed with a 60-second cut of the trailer (newly updated here). Robin was very nice, curious, and encouraging. We chatted about how Rwanda is doing, the trauma and obstacles people face, and how education is key to Rwanda's future. why this documentary is important. We touched on how little is known about Rwanda by westerners, and how this documentary is important to give Rwandans a voice. And I was able to plug viewers on our need for a distributor :)
Chris Davies, Tech Director and Sound Recordist was in the studio and said that it went well. I'm hoping to get a tape soon so I can upload a clip.
Thanks to Terry MacIsaac at Global for being interested in the project and suggesting we do the segment.

A little publicity
Looks like we might get a little air time on Global's weekend news program. If it all works out, I'll be doing a live interview for about five minutes during the noon-hour broadcast. We'll be talking about the documentary and how Rwanda has been doing.
